ABOUT NRSHHA

The National Rural Self Help Housing Association (NRSSHA) is a membership organization made up of organizations around the country that participate in the USDA Self-Help Housing program.

NRSHHA was founded in 1988 with a goal to share information, keep abreast on the changes and provide support to the national program.

NRSHHA provides a vehicle for nonprofit and local government agencies across tht United States working in the field of rural Self-Help Housing to work together to:

  • Promote Self-Help Housing as a viable answer to rural housing needs.
  • Provide nation-wide coordination and collaboration of rural Self-Help Housing programs.
